“We’re on the moo-ve bringing PA Dairymen’s joy to Central Pennsylvanians with special attention to our extraordinary healthcare heroes who are on the frontlines saving lives. We are excited to offer our delicious milkshakes to those individuals and to all of our fans, and to share our fun new food truck to kick off this year’s festivities,” said Dave Smith, Executive Director of Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association. “While we are all heartbroken we can’t gather at the PA Farm Show this year due to the pandemic, we are pleased to offer our delicious milkshakes, and new Cowabunga ice cream to the public as they are grocery shopping in celebration of our incredible dairy industry, dedicated dairy farmers and virtual PA Farm Show. We remain grateful to the Karns family, Stauffers of Kissel Hill, and the area businesses and restaurants for supporting our state’s dairy and agricultural industries, as well as all of our philanthropic endeavors. As you shop for groceries, we hope milkshake fans pick up our newest dairy treat to enjoy, and take home our legen-DAIRY milkshakes that support PA ag programs and many meaningful causes. And, we want to support our friends at the PA Co-Operative Potato Growers by grabbing a dozen of their wonderful, powdered potato donuts. Also, we want everyone to upload and share their dairy photos with us by our new, entertaining milkshake truck to help spread milkshake smiles across social media,” he added.

Smith noted that the NEW “Cowabunga” ice cream was produced in honor of the 2021 PA Farm Show and will have limited availability, while supplies last at locations throughout Central Pennsylvania. Proceeds from ice cream sales will support Pennsylvania agricultural, education, farming and hunger-prevention programs and projects.

The PA Dairymen’s milkshake is one of the most sought-after favorites during the PA Farm Show. People and businesses have reached out in record numbers asking where they can get the famous milkshakes this year.  Businesses and community groups have stepped up to help support Pennsylvania’s dairy farmers, the philanthropic endeavors of the PA Dairymen’s Association and request Milkshake Pop Ups in communities or for Employee Day recognitions since sale proceeds benefit Pennsylvania ag-related charities, along with Feeding PA’s Fill A Glass With Hope© fresh milk program for families in need.
