Ben Gallaher and his band as well as Buffalo Mountain Blue Grass Band performances will follow during the main program beginning at 2:00 p.m. Event proceeds support benevolent care and the additional enhanced services Homeland Hospice provides to patients and families. Homeland Hospice provides more than $3 million in benevolent care annually. “We are proud to celebrate 10 years of providing exceptional quality and compassionate care to the communities and families we serve throughout central Pennsylvania,” Debbie Klinger, Director of Homeland Hospice says. “We are extremely grateful to the thousands of families who have welcomed us into their homes, hospital rooms and hearts. And we are extremely proud to toast our tenth with one of Pennsylvania’s favorite country artists, Ben Gallaher and his band. We encourage everyone to put on their best denim and join us for a great Sunday afternoon of spectacular music, country bbq foods and fun, all for a great cause!”
Homeland Hospice is a non-profit hospice program that serves 14 communities throughout Central Pennsylvania by providing end-of-life care either in a person’s home or wherever they reside, including nursing facilities. Homeland also provides bereavement support to families for a full 13 months following the death of their loved one. This service is available to anyone in the community who is experiencing grief.
Homeland Hospice is a community outreach of Homeland Center. Klinger added, “The same passion and commitment that has guided Homeland for over 150 years, is the very reason we are here today celebrating 10 years of providing hospice care as well as the enormous impact on those whom we have been privileged to uplift and serve!”
November is Hospice Month.
