Major Donation to Be Presented To Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania (VOPA)

A successful Greystone Derby Day Battle of the Roses Charity event was held on Saturday, May 4th that included a day full of Kentucky Derby fun to raise funding for our veterans, through Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania or VOPA.

A check presentation and brief program will be held to announce the MAJOR donation from the fundraiser and to present it to Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania (VOPA) at Greystone Brew House in Dillsburg.

This year’s major Derby Day sponsors included Legacy Sponsor Faulkner Family of Dealerships along with Presenting Co-Sponsors Renewal by Andersen of Central PA and Members 1st Federal Credit Union. Various other sponsors also supported the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby festivities at Greystone.

How Greystone Derby Day Benefits VOPA:
By participating in Derby Day, participants are DIRECTLY supporting Veterans Outreach of PA (VOPA’s) Veterans Grove featuring their 15 Tiny Homes and the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation Patriots Place Community Center in Harrisburg, Pa. Proceeds from Derby Day will help combat homelessness with VOPA to support veterans.
