Celebrates Nation’s First Statewide Fresh Milk Program for Families in Need

American Dairy Association North East, Feeding Pennsylvania and the PA Dairymen’s Association launch the 2023 Fill a Glass with Hope® fundraising campaign on Friday, January 6 at 11 a.m. at the Dairymen’s Food Court stand at the PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center. Former NFL wide receiver Torrey Smith, a two-time Super Bowl Champion with the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens, plus PA Dairy Princess Royalty, Chairman of the US House Agriculture Committee, Congressman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson, PA Agriculture Sec. Russell Redding, state business sponsors and government leaders to join the festivities.
Feeding PA will announce the total dollars raised to kick-off the 9th year of the Fill a Glass with Hope® campaign, which enables Feeding PA’s nine-member food banks to purchase and distribute fresh milk from local dairies. To date, the program has provided more than 34 million servings of fresh milk to families in need across Pennsylvania.
