PSFCA Big 33 Will Hold Its’ 4TH Annual Big 33 Buddy Program Mini Golf Outing, Sponsored By UPMC

The PSFCA Big 33 is excited to hold the 4th Annual Big 33 Buddy Program Mini Golf Outing on Sunday, September 29th from 2-4:00 p.m. at Sports Emporium in Carlisle, PA. This event is generously funded by UPMC and is held in honor of Sandra St. John, former Big 33 Buddy. Upon her passing a few years ago, Sandra kindly left the Big 33 in her will and this event has been created in her honor and her legacy will live on through the Big 33 Buddy Program.

This event is for all of the present and past Big 33 Buddies and their families, as well as new families who have a child with a special need. This event will include time to play mini golf, eat, and enjoy the company of other Big 33 Buddy Families. Again this year, we are involving a local high school football team (Boiling Springs) to have the opportunity to enjoy a special day with our Buddies, form new friendships, and give back to the community.

The esteemed Big 33 Buddy Program features individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This program was started in 1985 and was designed to partner a child with special needs with a Big 33 athlete. This program has grown through the years and continues to partner our Big 33 Buddies with our Big 33 Players and Cheerleaders, as well as local students. For more information, go to www. big33.org or follow them on Facebook @Big33FootballClassic, Instagram @PFSCABig33FootballClassic or on Twitter @psfcabig33. Money raised from the game helps support the Big 33 Buddy Program which connects kids with special needs with all-star athletes in football, cheerleading and beyond.
